I was in Paris and London. Wrong time of year to go, and we didn't plan our trip very well, so Paris was miserable and London was only slightly more bearable. Still, it taught me a lesson about vacations for the rest of my life: I'm the kind of person who only wants to go places where they speak English. Call me uncultured or closed-minded, I don't care.

By the way, don't you love it when people spell "bought" as "baught?"

SPOILER IF YOU HAVE NOT READ Freshmen II: Fundamentals of Fear DO NOT READ THIS.

I liked the revelation that Charles was gay it added depth to his character and add another dimension to his relationship with susie, she wants him to love her but he can't not just because they're different species but because he's gay

Thanks!

Yeah, it's all a metaphor for isolation and not being understood by the people around you-- whether they're a different sexuality or a different species. Smile
